This book is a harbinger of our future. In a strange new world, there is no line between reality and fiction; it is no longer possible to distinguish virtuality from reality. However, there is a Neo here, his name is Maya Brooks and he is a woman. A cool hacker finds a danger that threatens all of humanity. Almost Skynet, I'll tell you. I liked reading this book; it evokes vivid flashbacks, either to the plot of The Terminator or to the plot of The Matrix.
